The most IMPORTANT question you should ask yourself!

The most important question that you will ever ask!

What is your calling, the purpose of your life? Why are you here, and not one of the other billions of sperm that could have won?

I’m not talking about the limited “callings” we get taught at school… this choice is not limited to Accountant, Doctor, Engineer or head of Design… I’m talking about the legacy that you will leave behind, the change in the world that others will find… because you were here. What is your calling?

Mine is simple… being the best I can be and achieving great things, with the hope to inspire others to do the same thing. To believe in themselves and know that nothing is impossible, but rather that everything is I’m Possible.

Don’t fall for the trap. You see, society will always beat your dreams down, but not away. It’s then up to you to beat it back in and get it to stay. As Will Smith would say, if you have a dream you have to protect it. Just because you dream has faded doesn’t mean it is gone. Just because others don’t see it doesn’t mean your wrong. What is your calling, the purpose of your life?

Now you might be thinking, what if I fail? What if I make of fool of myself? What if I am not good enough? These questions are normal, but they are not truth. They are stories we have told ourselves time and time again that they have become beliefs, but they are not truth. The only truth in life is that we are powerful beyond all measure. Your playing small does not serve the world as there is nothing enlightened by shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, like children do. It’s not just in some of us, but in every single person.

It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all. Don’t let life, society or your own fears get in the way. Stand back and say I’m Possible, and I can do this.

If you don’t know what your calling is, that’s fine… but don’t stop looking until you find it. Because the two most important days in one’s life is the day they are born and the day they find out why. Never stop searching. Never stop challenging. Never stop reaching your potential.

Much love, Laurens
